Installing it as an app

WebUVs can be installed like an app: in a window of its own, with its own icon to start it from.

On a computer

• Chrome or Edge: click the install button at the right end of the address bar, or pick Install from the browser's menu.
• Safari on a Mac: pick File, then Add to Dock.

On a phone or tablet

• Android, in Chrome: open the menu and pick Add to Home screen or Install app.
• iPhone or iPad, in Safari: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.

Good to know

It's the same editor, loaded from the web, so it needs a connection to start. Your files are still read and saved on your own computer.

Your work kept in the browser may or may not carry over to the installed app, depending on the browser.
